Welcome!

On behalf of the citizens of this great community, I would like to welcome you to the City of Burrton website.

Located in western Harvey county along highway 50, Burrton is home to more than 900 residents. Known for its outstanding school system and excellent recreational programs, Burrton offers the best of small town values with a long tradition of community pride. We are a safe, friendly town with good moral values which makes for a great place to live and raise a family.
 
Geographically, Burrton has the luxury of being located a short drive from bigger cities such as Hutchinson, Newton and Wichita which makes it an ideal location to start or relocate your business. Our city government is dedicated to the development and constant improvement of the town. Our focus is the willingness to listen to the concerns and work with the citizens of Burrton in order to see our community grow and flourish. We invite our citizens to take a proactive part, and have many civic organizations which allow citizens to be involved in the growth and development of the community.
