The
Burrton Lions Club would like to extend an invitation for you to join our
club!
You
will be doing something positive for your community!
Come
to our next meeting and we will provide your meal for visiting.
We are an active group who meet
twice a month, the second and the fourth Wednesdays, at The Paradise Grill
Restaurant in Burrton at 6:00 PM. We would like all members to attend
business meetings when possible, but we do know that you have a busy
schedule. If this is the case, join us, when possible, at our meetings and
participate in are activities.
Some of the activities that we
do or are a part of are;
1) Pancake feeds in the Burrton
Community
2) Provide community benches
downtown, the concession stand at the baseball field, and planting of
trees in the downtown area of Burrton.
3) Pick up of trash on Highway
50 west of Burrton.
4) Sponsorship of local school
students to the Kansas Lion's Band.
5) Eye glass collection in
Burrton Community for those in need throughout the world.
6) Help with gate receipts at
the Burrton High School home football games.
7) Sponsor two teacher awards
honoring a K-8 and High School teachers.
We would like you to visit our
meetings. Call or contact us if you have any questions.
